Kids’ Chance of Florida Now Accepting Scholarship Applications

Sarasota, FL (May 17, 2016) – Kids’ Chance of Florida, Inc., has announced that it is accepting scholarship applications for the upcoming educational year. Children who have a parent who has been seriously injured or killed on the job, and have been accepted to an accredited college, university or trade school may apply. The application packet is available at the organizations website, 45.56.98.150/~kcflorg.

Kids’ Chance is a national 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to children whose parent has been involved in a  serious workplace accident. Started in Valdosta, GA in 1988, the organization is now in over 35 states. The Florida chapter, founded in December 2015, is one of the two newest to join the Kids’ Chance Organization. Chapters across the nation are largely run through the volunteer efforts of professionals from the workers’ compensation industry.
